What stays on your phone

Your sessions, check-ins, history, and nominated contact details are stored on your device only. There is no account. We operate no analytics, no advertising, no crash reporting.

What leaves your phone, and when

Only at an escalation. When a check-in is missed, your phone sends one request to our server (mustercall-api.pages.dev) carrying your display name, your nominated contact's email, and the session's times — plus your last shared spot (a location captured once, in the foreground, when you armed, if you chose to share one). Our server emails your contact and stores nothing: no database, no logs of request bodies.

Permissions

Notifications and exact alarms (the check-in alarm), location only while the app is in use (the optional shared spot). Mustercall never collects your location in the background, never reads your contacts, and never sends SMS.

Deleting

"Delete all data" in Settings erases everything on the device immediately. Because the server keeps nothing, there is nothing else to delete.
